New novel announcement

This is a short blog update to say that I have completed my second novel. Yes, that includes both writing and editing. The manuscript is ready to roll out, but I had no idea how exactly to do this, given my busy schedule.

Last year, it was a process of trial and error with my first novel. I originally posted it on Wattpad, then on my blog, and subsequently on Inkitt and StoryStar. Now, I would like my blog to be the primary platform for my work, but I am worried that the number of updates (one post per chapter) might annoy subscribers who receive the email newsletter.

As a result, I think (within a month) I will publish my novel over the course of two weekends. In this manner, the subscribers will receive only four big newsletters instead of fifty or so. I think that would be the best solution. Afterwards, I can try to upload the book on Wattpad and Inkitt, but I'm guessing StoryStar is no longer in the picture because they give zero ability to edit or delete the work after it was published on their site.

And now it may be a good idea to do a bit of shameless reveal, so here it is, a sequel to my original novel:

Title and Cover:

Synopsis (I’m sorry, but I suck at summarising my own work. I don’t want to sound like a salesman, but it’s kinda the purpose of this blurb):

Seventeen-year-old Roseanne Juzynski just wanted a quiet summer — some writing, some music, and maybe a little peace from the high school pressure. Instead, she’s dragged onto a chaotic school trip to the seaside city of Gdynia, led by her exasperated English teacher and a handful of classmates who can’t go five minutes without drama.

Between reckless adventures and an unexpected connection that stirs her heart, Roseanne begins to see her world — and her own hobby — in a new light. What starts as a simple vacation becomes a journey of friendship, love, and self-discovery in a country that is a madhouse of abstractions.

And to entice you even further, allow me to share a playlist with all the songs that are mentioned in the novel. Yes, it’s a sort of soundtrack for the novel.

Stay tuned for the updates.
